Lancaster County is known for being Amish Country, which means known for farmland and barns. But nothing helps a barn stand out as custom-built, hand-crafted doors. This project has several of them.
White painted double-doors creates a clean look while allowing plenty of space for animals or equipment to pass through. The color fits well with the custom reclaimed wood top rail and surrounding gray-blue stone work. A custom man-door entryway has added flair with a tall wood transom. Even the gate door in a stone wall was painted and outfitted to match the barn doors. Together, the doors add to the beauty and functionality of this barn.
