This magnificent timber frame horse barn in Sparks, MD wouldn’t be complete without the custom color and design of their stall and barn doors. They serve both a valuable function – allowing entry of light, guests, and horses – but also serve as handsome accents adding to the horse barn’s eye-catching beauty.
The doors’ color was custom-chosen to complement this barn’s unique look. Every detail was considered: the hammer strap hinges are curved to match the curve of the stable doors. The large entry and side barn doors hang on a large track and trolley system, making it easy to open and close the main barn access points. These doors utilize large windows to allow natural light to pass through, and to allow the horses to look out into the surrounding fields. This barn also employs working overhead loft doors with cross braces.
