This multi-stall horse barn and indoor arena incorporates natural light and plenty of windows for enhanced airflow. But some of the truly remarkable features of this beautiful stone and wood building are the doors. This facility used only custom doors for the front entryway, stall doors, and side entry sliding barn doors.
Stable doors were made in the customary dutch door style, framed with natural stone walls. Latches allow the top half of the door – primarily a window – to swing away from the rest of the door, or keep one or both halves securely closed. More hardware detail can be found in the custom entryway door as iron studs add a decorative effect to the rails. On the interior, a custom lock secures the door against unexpected guests. A handsome sliding door provides access to the facility from the side, allowing for horses and humans to pass easily through the large opening when the doors are open.
